Fan Selection Tools & Calculators

Fifteen browser tools for the questions that come before a fan order: which model is close to your duty point, how much air a cabinet needs, what a speed change does to pressure and power, and whether an EC retrofit pays back.

Which Tool Do I Need?

Start from what you already know. Most projects use two tools in a row, for example an airflow calculator and then a selector.

You haveYou want to knowStart with
A required airflow and static pressureWhich catalog fan comes closeThe selector for your fan type, in section 03
A model number or an old fan to replaceA matching model, or an EC alternativeModel lookup in the DC brushless, DC centrifugal or EC centrifugal selector; for AC to EC, the EC Fan Replacement Selector

Find a Fan Model

Enter a duty point, frame size or voltage and get catalog candidates. Results flag the ones that still need an engineering check.

DC Axial Fan Selector

Match DC axial fans across 14 catalog models, 225mm to 450mm, by frame size, voltage, airflow, static pressure and control interface.

How to Use a Tool Result

Treat every result here as a first pass. The selectors compare your input with published maximum airflow and maximum static pressure. A fan does not reach both at the same time; the real operating point sits on its performance curve.

The cost tools work from the figures you type in, so the answer is only as close as those inputs.

Before ordering, check the characteristic curve and the dimensional drawing, or send us the numbers and we will do it.

Send Us the Numbers From a Tool

Paste the inputs and result from any tool, or just your duty point, and our engineering team will check them against the fan curve. We respond within 1 business day.
